Register for Classes

We are now certified to instruct Idaho state STARS classes. Each class listed below is worth 10 hours of STARS credit. Below the class title is the credit category and a short class overview. We do accept STARS Scholarships ~ so sign up today! To register for a class just click on the registration tab to the left and complete the "Quick Start" form. Next click on "Enter Your Classroom" to begin your chosen class.

1. Idaho STARS - Family Systems $100
   The 10 hour STARS credit will be in the following areas. 5 hours component #4 - "Relationships with Families", 3 hours component #3, & 2 hours component #9.
   This course covers units on Family structure, relationships, communication, learning disabilities, and behavior problems. A workbook is provided. At completion a certificate will be issued.

2. Idaho STARS - Diversity $100
   The 10 hour STARS credit will be in the following areas. Two hours from each of the following Components #1, #3, #4, #7, & #9 - "Character Building", "Relationships with Families" & "Special Needs"
   This course covers units on Diversity, cultural relationships, harassment, communication, personality types, and brain research. A workbook is provided. At completion a certificate will be issued.

3. Idaho STARS - Health, Safety & Nutrition $100
   The 10 hour STARS credit will be in the following area: Component #8 - "Health, Safety & Nutrition"
   This course covers units on Health, Wellness, Illness procedure, safety, first aid, and  childhood nutrition. A workbook is provided. At completion a certificate will be issued.

4. Idaho STARS - Behavior Strategies $100
   The 10 hour STARS credit will be in the following areas. 4 hours Component #2 - "The Environment, Curriculum & Practice" and 6 hours Component #3.
   This course covers units on play environment, communication, behavior problems, and strategies to use. A workbook is provided. At completion a certificate will be issued.

5. Idaho STARS - Curriculum & Preschool Activities $100
   The 10 hour STARS credit will be in the following areas. 5 hours in Component #2 - "The Environment, Curriculum & Practice" and 5 hours in Component #1.
   This course covers units on brain research, the learning process, appropriate lessons/activities for pre-school children, activity & lesson planning. A workbook is provided. At completion a certificate will be issued.

6. Idaho STARS - Curriculum & School-age Activities $100
   The 10 hour STARS credit will be in the following areas. 5 hours in Component #2 - "The Environment, Curriculum & Practice" and 5 hours in Component #1.
   This course covers units on brain research, the learning process, appropriate lessons/activities for school-age children, activity & lesson planning. A workbook is provided. At completion a certificate will be issued.

7. Idaho STARS - Curriculum & Toddler Activities $100
   The 10 hour STARS credit will be in the following areas. 5 hours in Component #2 - "The Environment, Curriculum & Practice" and 5 hours in Component #1.
   This course covers units on brain research, the learning process, appropriate lessons/activities for toddlers, activity & lesson planning. A workbook is provided. At completion a certificate will be issued.

8. Idaho STARS - Curriculum & Infant Activities $100
   The 10 hour STARS credit will be in the following areas. 5 hours in Component #2 - "The Environment, Curriculum & Practice" and 5 hours in Component #1.
   This course covers units on brain research, the learning process, appropriate lessons/activities for infants, activity & lesson planning. A workbook is provided. At completion a certificate will be issued.

9. Idaho STARS - Pre-Science Skills $100
   The 10 hour STARS credit will be in the following areas. Component #2 - "The Environment, Curriculum & Practice"
   This course covers units on enhancing skills in pre-science, setting up activities and programs to improve the science readiness of preschool children. A workbook is provided. At completion a certificate will be issued.

10. Idaho STARS - Pre-Math Skills $100
    The 10 hour STARS credit will be in the following areas. Component #2 - "The Environment, Curriculum & Practice"
    This course covers units on enhancing skills in pre-math, setting up activities and programs to improve the number/math readiness of preschool children. A workbook is provided. At completion a certificate will be issued.

11. Idaho STARS - Pre-Reading Skills $100
    The 10 hour STARS credit will be in the following areas. This course covers units on enhancing skills in pre-reading, setting up activities and programs to improve the reading readiness of preschool children. A workbook is provided. At completion a certificate will be issued.

12. Idaho STARS - Fitness for Kids $100
    The 10 hour STARS credit will be in the following areas. 6 hours in Component #8 - "Health, Safety & Nutrition" and 4 hours Component #2.
    This course covers units on eating habits/nutrition, exercise, active play, childhood obesity and health risks. A workbook is provided. At completion a certificate will be issued.
