What We Do:
"STARS on the Internet" has a large selection of STARS approved
internet courses for Washington and Idaho State Child Care Providers. We teach
all our classes on the internet, thereby providing an alternative
for the busy Child Care Provider.
Our
Business History:
"STARS on the Internet" began in 1999. We were one of the very first
groups to go through the STARS Training the Trainer program. We were
the first Internet STARS training program available in Washington
state. We worked closely with WAEYC & STARS to develop courses that would improve the level of
Child Care in the State of Washington.
Each year we have increased our class offerings by developing and
setting up new courses that are of interest to Child Care Providers
and that are within the STARS guidelines. In 2006 we were approved
to instruct Idaho STARS courses and now have an offering of courses for Idaho Child
care Providers.
From the very beginning, every "STARS on the Internet" class
participant has filled out an evaluation form at the end of each and
every class. All results are kept on file. If you would like to ask

Care Providers throughout the state.
Who Runs this Business:
"STARS on the Internet" is a small sole proprietor business run
throughout the states of Washington and Idaho. The STARS Certified Instructor
is Lita M. Tabish, M Ed.
Lita Tabish has an extensive background in Child Development & Child
Care. She holds a Bachelor Degree from the University of Idaho in
Family and Consumer Sciences, Home Economics, with a minor in Child
Development. She has taught Child Development classes at both the
High School and College level for 19+ years. She holds a Master
Degree in Education from Eastern Washington University.
She also has many years experience as a Preschool Teacher,
Kindergarten Teacher, Child Care Center Director, Child Care Center
Owner, Child Care Program Supervisor, and most importantly a Parent!
What Makes Us Unique:
We pride ourselves in being able to offer top quality STARS classes
to Child Care Providers that are too busy, live too far away, have
young children of their own, or are just too tired to attend
classes.
Our classes are available WHENEVER & WHEREVER you happen to have
time to work. Our courses are available 24 hours per day - seven
days per week. You may register at anytime, classes are ongoing and
can be started at all times and are completed at your own pace.
