To Do:

Please go to the class assignment website "Filamentality" and spend at least one hour taking the site "tour". This "tour of the process" will completely explain the process of setting up a Hotlist. Please take notes if needed, or feel free to jump right in! Here is the site: Go To Filamentality Site
 

To Do:
Decide what type of Hotlist site you would like to set up; for Staff, or for Parents. Next decide what the topic or topics are that you would like to address. Using your topic ideas please go to: www.google.com
and complete an Internet search. Just type in your topic and click "google search". Google will then find and list for you a multitude of sites about your topic.

Here is where the work comes in ... spend some time surfing through these sites to find the best ones. When you find a good site write down a quick introduction about the site and the website address in your notes. You will be using this information to build your "Hotlist". Continue until you have at least 10 "Good to Great" sites listed in your notes.

 

To Do:

With your notes in hand return to the Filamentality site just click on: Filamentality
and start to build your site! Click on "Start a New Topic". Sign in and set up an account ~ be sure to write down your user name and password used. Next add in all the websites that you found and complete a Hotlist. Be sure you have at least 10 sites to put on your Hotlist.

Write a complete introduction so the Parents or Staff that visit your site will understand the Topic & how to use it. Be sure to proof read it, and then "spin that thing"! Now post it live on the web & be sure to print out the website address so you & others can visit your new site.

To complete this course assignments you must now e-mail your new Hotlist Site address to: admin3@starstab.com   Due to an overload of Spam please mark your assignments on the e-mail subject line Please write out: Assignment #3
